He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix A DeBarros Sr. and Caroline DeBarros (Randall); his children, Joann, Kenneth Ruley (Pebs) and Edward Ruley; his granddaughter Stephanie Booth (Tootis) of Norwich; and his siblings, Frederick DeBarros, Joseph DeBarros, Clara Amado (Jenkins), Mary Braxton and Virginia Thompson.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy D. Gilliard (Mike) of Norwich, Terri L. DeBarros-Booth (Dana) of Norwich, John Ruley Jr. of Ledyard and Michael Gagne of Groton; and his close friend Gail Gagne of Taftville. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
