It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Rader Wissel of Suffield, Connecticut, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother David M. Wissel. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Harold R. Wissel and Gertrude J. Wissel of Suffield, CT; his daughter Stephanie Wissel of Castleton, VT; his siblings, Scott, Paul Wissel of Suffield, CT and Sharon D'Arrigo; and his brother-in-law Joseph D'Arrigo of Assonet, MA..
