Shirley May DeMontigny Obituary
We bid farewell to Shirley May DeMontigny of Suffield, Connecticut, born in Whately, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her sister Elaine Warner; and her brother-in-law Robert L. DeMontigny. She is survived by: her children, Richard DeMontigny (AnnMarie), Thomas DeMontigny (MaryEllen), Karen Vogel (Mark), David DeMontigny and Michelle Fauteux; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Nicole, Shauna, Nicholas, Tyler, Patrick, Shannon and Katie. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (23 Simon Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the St. Patrick King Street Cemetery (1558 King St, Enfield, CT 06082).
