He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; and his brothers, Henry and James Mercik. He is survived by: his children, Robert Mercik, Jr. (Jennifer) of West Suffield, Steven Mercik (Mary) of Enfield, Lynn Brennan (Kevin) of Marblehead, MA and Susan Davis (Ross) of Suffield; and his grandchildren, Jack, Maggie Mercik, Benjamin, William, Brooke Brennan, Katherine, Allison and Charles Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
