Hinckley Jr. of Westfield, MA, Amy Vickery of Bennington, NH, Trisha and Steve Downard; his grandchildren, Monica Markowski, Alexei Alvarado of Somerville, MA, Peter Markowski of Boston, MA, Britney Mansi (Kyle), Bobby Hinckley (Ann), Corey Hinckley (Malerie), Lauren, Lisa, Sarah Vickery, Will, Kyle and Megan Downard; his sister Jennie O'Brien; and his sisters-in-law, Halina Leszczynska and Malgorzata Galazka. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), a non-profit organization advancing type 1 diabetes research.
