Maureen A. Welch Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen A. Welch of Suffield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maureen A. Welch to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Welch; and her parents, E. Peter Leddy and Mary Leddy (McDevitt). She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Welch (Susan) of Suffield, CT and Kathleen W. Orejuela (Manuel) of Brookfield, WI; her grandchildren, James Orejuela, Liam Welch, Nicole Orejuela, Sara Welch and Alexandra Orejuela; and her cousin Jane Elrod.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home (443 East Street N, Suffield, CT 06078). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (446 Mountain Rd, Suffield, CT 06078). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (410 - 453 Bridge St, Suffield, CT 06078).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Maureen's name to Suffield Community Aid, 450 South St, Suffield, CT 06078.
