He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Tyman, Sr. and Mary Tyman (Collins); and his siblings, Kathleen and James. He is survived by: his wife Paula Tyman (Congelos); his children, Joseph Tyman, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, Dillon Tyman of East Granby and Stephanie Tyman (Franco D'Elia) of Windsor Locks; and his siblings, John Tyman, Jr. (Deborah) of West Suffield, Maryalice Morin of Belchertown, MA, Patricia Henriksen (Neil) of East Hampton and Eileen Gannuscio (Alan) of Windsor Locks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
