He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hanmer (Baush) and H. Francis Hanmer of Wethersfield, CT.; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Judith Rush Hanmer (Judy); and his children, Elizabeth H. Snyder, Alfred W. Hanmer (Lisa), Susan H. Farina (Dino) and Samuel R. Hanmer (Susan Gardini). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 6 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in honor of Henry to support either the YMCA of Greater Springfield or the Trees for Suffield Fund.
