With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Henry F. Hanmer of Suffield, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hanmer (Baush) and H. Francis Hanmer of Wethersfield, CT.; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Judith Rush Hanmer (Judy); and his children, Elizabeth H. Snyder, Alfred W. Hanmer (Lisa), Susan H. Farina (Dino) and Samuel R. Hanmer (Susan Gardini). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 6 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home (443 East Street N, Suffield, CT 06078). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Old St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (59 Tariffville Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in honor of Henry to support either the YMCA of Greater Springfield or the Trees for Suffield Fund.
