With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Hamel (Suffield, Connecticut), who passed away on April 23, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hamel; her son-in-law George Weiglein; and her grandsons, Skyler Hamel and Peter Weiglein. She is survived by: her children, Janice Weiglein of Chico, CA. and Bradford Hamel (Ellyn) of North Yarmouth, ME; and her granddaughters, Aynsley Hamel (John Mask) of Timonium, MD and Jennifer Griggs (Chad) of Elkins, WV.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Suffield Community Aid or to a charity of your choice.
