It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brian W. Phelps of Suffield, Connecticut, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper A. Phelps and Irene Mae Phelps (Webb); and his brother Robert E. Phelps. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Coryell of Suffield; his children, Christopher M. Phelps (Martine) of Colebrook, NH and Pamela M. Phelps (Charlie) of Upton, ME; his significant other's daughters, Tracey Lajoie (Mark) of Norwalk and Stephanie Schreiner of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandchildren, Brittany, Alexander C. Phelps, Troy S. Grover, Zackary Lajoie, Aiden Lajoie, Travis Lajoie, Carlos Kloosterman, Benjamin Kloosterman, Christopher Kloosterman, Maya Kloosterman and Gracie Kloosterman; his brothers, Dwight A. Phelps (Nancy) of Windsor Locks and John J. Phelps (Catherine) of Warner Robins, GA; and his sister-in-law Donna Phelps of Enfield. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home (443 East Street N, Suffield, CT 06078). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (220 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
