He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dwyer and Anna Cullen Dwyer; his wife Evelyn; his daughter Sharon Dwyer Varga; and his brother Paul Dwyer.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Dwyer Pough and Janet Dwyer; his grandsons, Michael (Vanessa), Daniel Varga (Jessica) and Zachary Pough (Gianna); his great grandchild Rolan Varga; his brothers, Jack, Jim and Robert Dwyer; and his son-in-law Steven Varga. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
