It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia D. Lauro of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew A. Lauro; her parents, James J. Ligouri Sr. and Catherine Anniello Ligouri; and her siblings, Louis Ligouri, James Ligouri, Jr., Joseph Ligouri, Anthony Ligouri, Thomas Ligouri, George Ligouri, Rose Ligouri Schettino, Jean Liguori Bockiaro and Madeline Ligouri Soules.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Lauro (Susan) of Trumbull, Linda Lauro of Stratford and Randy Lauro (Denise) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, Ashley, Gabrielle, Andrew (Drew) and Luke; her great grandchildren, Virgil, Mateo, Jordan, Liliana and Myla Rae; and her brothers, Johnny, Armondo and Raymond. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
