He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley J. Sobieraj and Rose Sobieraj (Motyka); his former wife Frances Grand Sobieraj; and his brother Robert Sobieraj. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Frank Sobieraj; his sons, David (Michelle) of Stamford, Robert of Independence, MO, Mark (Joan) of Shelton, Richard (Heidi) of Shelton, Jeffrey of Stratford and Todd of North Haven; his grandchildren, David Sobieraj (Leslie), Michael Sobieraj (Gaby), Brittany Bresley (Eli), Kyle Belle, Elise, Rick, Miles and Chase Sobieraj; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Isabel, River, Asher and Olivia.
