He was predeceased by: his parents, David Royal Lessler and Claire Lessler Alpert (Selcow); his stepfather Dr. Max Alpert; his sister Adrienne Lessler Krassner; his brother-in-law Dr. Leonard Krassner; and his aunt Anne Selcow.
He is survived by: his wife Judith B. Lessler; his daughters, Susan Fiorani (Claudio), Amy Freeman and Elizabeth Lessler Flaherty (Sean); his grandchildren, Rachel Lesser, Dakota Freeman, Roksana Freeman, Emma Freeman, Gideon Freeman, Cassandra DiLorenzo, Hannah Flaherty, Michael DiLorenzo and Simon R. Flaherty; and his great grandchildren, Amelia DiLorenzo and Vincent DiLorenzo.
