She was predeceased by: her daughter Kharis Dawkins; her sister Cheryl Lawson; and her nephew Tyree Lawson. She is survived by: her parents, Robert Lawson and Della Lawson; her husband Robert "Jody" Dawkins; her siblings, Stayce, Jackie Jeter and Robert Jonathan Lawson (Amy); her aunts and uncles, Sue, Lorine, Vivian, Ethel, Ann Corine, Sadie, Ernest and David Bryant; her nieces, Staysia Dumas and Alayna Lawson; her nephew Quincy Lawson; her great-nephew Camden Dumas; and also, Hector and Emma Herrera.
