She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Carney, Sr. and Lillian Botsford Carney; and her sister Carol Erwin. She is survived by: her husband Barry Peterson; her son Harry Therien Jr. (Mary) of Stratford; her granddaughters, Lauren Paz (Matthew) of Shelton and Jennifer Dalling (Trevor) of Monroe; and her siblings, Judith Desrosiers (Ron) and Ron Carney (Cindy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
