He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Simpson and Ruth Simpson (Wilson) of Bridgeport; and his brother Gordon Simpson Jr. of Stratford. He is survived by: his wife Helen Sinchak Simpson of Stratford; his children, Patricia Schultz of Waterbury, James Simpson of Stratford and Diane Early (Brian Early) of Stratford; and his grandchildren, Christina, John, Patrick, Mary Kate and Caroline of Stratford.
