In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert Godfrey is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert Godfrey's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Irene K. Pierson; his daughters, Rebecca Camperlengo (Michael) of Stratford and Erica Robertson (Brandon) of Avon; and his grandchildren, Megan Camperlengo, Tessa Robertson, Sara Robertson and Jake Camperlengo.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stratford United Methodist Church (2600 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Union Cemetery (23 Temple Ct, Stratford, CT 06615).
