He is survived by: his wife Carol Powe Roberts; his children, Richard K. Roberts of Stratford, Karen Thomas (Greg) of Stratford and Mooney Chop (Frank) of Stratford; his grandchildren, Matthew Chop (Meike), Gregory Thomas Jr., Justin Thomas (Marissa), Zachary Thomas (Jill), Lauren Thomas, Bubba Thomas (Mikayla) and Molly Roberts; his great grandchildren, Camryn, Addison and Skylar; and his brother William Roberts of Myrtle Beach, SC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
