He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Tyler and Richard Tyler; his wife Susan Tyler; his son David Tyler; and his nephew William Pardue.
He is survived by: his sister Louise Tyler of Milford, CT; his siblings-in-law, Robert Moss and Susan Moss of Palm Beach, FL; his children, Christine Tyler (Todd Belt) of Washington, DC, Richard Tyler of Trumbull, CT and Jennifer Dina (D'Andre Dina) of Stratford, CT.; his nephews, James Pardue, Robert Moss and Jesse Moss; his grandchildren, Heather Gregory, Hannah Tyler, Olivia Tyler, Samuel Dina, Madison Dina and William Dina; and his great grandchildren, D. J. Gregory, Dylan Gregory and Dayna Gregory.
