Michelina Zimbardo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michelina Zimbardo of Stratford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Raffaele Gerace; her father-in-law Vincenzo Zimbardo; and her in-laws, Domenico Sette and James Zimbardo. She is survived by: her mother Maria Teresa Gerace; her husband Giuseppe Zimbardo; her children, Vincent (Meritxell Zimbardo), Kristina (Dean Fracassini) and Nicolina (Dennis Geary); her grandchildren, Luca, Nico Fracassini, Dixon, Emma Geary, Alessandro and Santiago Zimbardo; her siblings, Teresa (Jeffrey Muller), Antonietta (Salvatore Tirro), Ralph (Raffaella Gerace), Rosemary Pantaleoni and Josephine Gerace-Carter; her mother-in-law Crocifissa Zimbardo; her in-laws, Angela Sette, Concetta Zimbardo, Ausilia, Chet Gurbisz, Mario Zimbardo, Jane and Mauro Diaz; and her godchildren, Franca Gerace Tamayo, Joe Ciancimino, Andrew Zimbardo, Vincent and Gianna Diaz. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home (691 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. John Paul II RC Parish (39 E 22nd St, Bayonne, NJ 07002). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
