It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Damato of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Damato and Anne Damato (Patrick); and his sister Sue Miller of Fairfield. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vayser Damato; his children, Michael Damato (Eugenia) of Florida and Cynthia Damato (Richard Hurley) of Stratford; and his granddaughter Amy Craw. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
