It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Malinak of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Stapleton and Lucy Moran Stapleton; and also Margaret Daly Stapleton. She is survived by: her husband John Malinak of Stratford; her daughters, Mary Ann Malinak of Stratford and Joan Malinak-Kardos of Naugatuck; her son-in-law Terence Kardos of Naugatuck; her brother James F. Stapleton of Trumbull; her sister-in-law Anne Malinak of Beacon Falls; and her granddaughters, Rebecca and Theresa Kardos of Naugatuck. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
