She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley of Vincent's Medical Center; her parents, Harvey Grindrod and Winifred Grindrod; and her great-nephew Joshua Alvarado. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Bednarz, Sr. of Stratford and Jennifer B. Tayman (Ryan) of Shelton; her grandsons, Kevin Bednarz Jr. and Justin Tayman; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Bednarz (Jenny) of Bridgeport; her sisters, Arlene Sopp of Stratford, Katherine Rundgren of Orange City and Donna Sivak (George) of Stratford; her niece Christine Grindrod of Stratford; and her sons, Anthony Gianpaolo of Shelton and Brian Gianpaolo of Watertown, MA.. She is also survived by nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral & Cremation Services (2220 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Church (500 Wigwam Ln, Stratford, CT 06614). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
