It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Concetta Jarusinsky of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 25, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mihran Basdekian (George) and Maria Grazia (Paoletta). She is survived by: her significant other James R. Jarusinsky; her daughters, Maria Grace Jarusinsky Smith of Poulsbo, WA, Renée Louise Jarusinsky of Brooklyn, NY and Daniele Kathleen Jarusinsky of Stratford, CT; her grandchildren, Emma Wood Smith, Sabina Claire Smith and Larkin Kaj Smith; her brother Arthur Basdekian; her son-in-law Nat Smith; and her pets, Lilly and Vita. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pistey Funeral Home (2155 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
