Kathleen (DeFonce) Shea Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen (DeFonce) Shea of Stratford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ann and Kerman Shea; her daughters, Kathleen (Jim Fagan), Kelly (Mark Anselmi) and Kristine (John Griffin); her grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew Fagan, Francesca, Giorgia, Valentina, Romeo, Terrence Anselmi, Korinne and Kerry Griffin; her siblings, Margaret Shea, Mary Quinn (Anthony), Ann Malinowski (Scott), Kelly Shea (Kathy) and John Shea; and her siblings-in-law, Roberta DeFonce, Daniel J. Foley, Jr. and Andy Soccodato, Jr.. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (2070 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
