We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2022, at the age of 93, Joseph S. Buckmir of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bernice Bray Buckmir; his mother Matilda Tolj Buckmir; his siblings, Mike, George, Rose and Anne; his son Wayne Bray Buckmir (Karen) of Orange; his grandsons, Wayne Jr. and Trent; his daughter Wendy Buckmir Kovacs (Michael Rapuano); and his grandsons, Dylan and Evan Kovacs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
