He is survived by: his children, Donna Wells (Don Ireland) of Stratford and Derek Wells (Gail Wells) of Milford; his daughter-in-law Alynne Wells; his grandchildren, Douglas Wells (Amanda), Michael Mlodzianoski, Steve Mlodzianoski (Hanh), Susan Mlodzianoski, Steven (Michelle Ireland), Joseph Ireland, Ben, Sam, Emma and Mathew Grace; his great grandchildren, John Ryan Wells, Julia, Stella and Lea Mlodzianoski; and his close friend Edith Drost.
