He is survived by: his children, Linda Bates (Philip) of Enfield, Susan Bard of Stratford and John Mellor (Annete) of Ansonia; his grandchildren, Anthony, Michael Daglio, Danielle, Justin Bard, John and Jessica Mellor; his great grandchildren, Emma and James Daglio; and his friend Laurie Birdseye (Patrick Early).
