John Kopchik Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Kopchik of Stratford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Kopchik to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Kopchik (Mihalko); his parents, Peter Kopchik and Anna Kopchik (Mizicko); his daughters, Audrey Toigo and Shirley Kolkebeck; and his siblings, Peter Kopchik, Anne Newton, Elizabeth Soltis and Mary Blakenship.
He is survived by: his son Jack Kopchik (Victoria Biello) of Woodbridge; his son-in-law Ken Kolkebeck (Mary) of New Jersey; and his grandsons, Keith Kolkebeck (Jessica), Scott Kolkebeck (Ann) and Kurt Kopchik (Jen). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. John's Orthodox Church (364 Mill Hill Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (2610 Nichols Ave, Stratford, CT 06614).
