It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgeann Parkes of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert James Parkes; and her parents, George Rottler and Ethel Fahey Rottler. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Parkes of Milford, Mary Takacs (Michael) of Stratford, Sean Parkes (Dianne) of Shelton and Timothy Parkes (Jennifer DiVencenzo) of Stratford; her grandchildren, Emma Parkes, Greta Parkes, Jack Parkes and Carolyn Takacs; her siblings, Robert Rottler and Marilyn Barker; her friends, Jeanne Gardecki and Lesley Schwimmer; and also, DJ and Max. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
