It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick William Ashcroft Jr. of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick William Ashcroft Sr. and Edna Ashcroft (Foster); his wife Barbara Weaver Ashcroft; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Johnson and John Quinn.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick Ashcroft III of Stratford, Brian Ashcroft (Kim) of Milford and Trudi Soumari of Stratford; his sister June Johnson of Milford; his sister-in-law Peggie Quinn; his granddaughters, Hailey and Hayden Ashcroft; and his nieces and nephews, Billy Johnson, Edward Quinn (Lexi), Susan Wollon (Matt) and Karyn Shuell (Brian). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
