It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Herbert Stemmler of Stratford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Eric Herbert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eric Herbert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his parents, Elizabeth Silbereisen Turner of Stratford and Jay Stemmler; his wife Denise of Portland; and his siblings, Jason Stemmler (Maria) of Trumbull, Michael Stemmler (Sarah) of Rocky Hill and Dana Pacelli (Al) of Northford.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home (2611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (2301 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund.
