He was predeceased by: his parents, Girolamo Vernuccio and Margaret Vernuccio (Capozzi). He is survived by: his sister Theresa M. Miklus of Shelton; his nieces, Diane Waldron of Cheshire and Jill Hirsch (Craig) of Monroe; his nephew John Miklus (Kerry) of Novi, MI; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyle Waldron, Ryan, Skylar, Evan Miklus, Jared and Kaitlyn Hirsch.
