He was predeceased by: his parents, Solly Goldschmidt and Clara Goldschmidt; and his wife Eileen Ruth Portman Goldschmidt. He is survived by: his son Martin Goldschmidt (Kathleen) of Huntington, CT; his brother Stephen Goldschmidt (Jeanne); and his pets, Dewie and Daisy.
