He was predeceased by : his parents, William Ennis and Jean Ennis; his wife Vera; his children, Allison (Richard Shaw) of Charlestown, RI and Michael (Laurie) of Groton; and his brother Sam.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Hobey, Will, Mackenzie, Cameron and Delaney; his great grandchild Sadie; his nephews, Patrick of Wales and Steve of London; and also Louise. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.
