He is survived by: his wife Dzidra Apinis (Mazjanis); his children, Andrew Apinis (Donna), Laura Apinis (Susan Ewart), Ronald Apinis (Robin) and John Apinis (Wendy); his nephews, Erik Apahnis (Jennifer) and Bryan Apinis (Kathryn); his niece Marta Meyers (Adam); his sister-in-law Kathleen Apinis; his cousin Talis Libants; his grandchildren, Heather, Jason, Evan, Dylan Savio, Brody, Caden and Reese; and his great grandchild Aurora Rodegher.
