He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. McHugh of Storrs; his children, Patrick McHugh (Sharon) of Cromwell, Peter McHugh (Joy Fausey) of West Hartford, Norah Machia (Anthony) of Watertown, NY and Molly McHugh (Chris Schmidt) of Orford, NH; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Machia (Laura), Kevin, Katie Machia, Summer and Rayne McHugh.

Memorial donations may be made to Friends of Ecole Agape, P.O. Box 303, Ashford, CT 06278 in support of our girls' school in Haiti.
