Helena Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helena Mitchell of Storrs, Connecticut, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred William Main and Doris Clair Grant of Crystal, ME; her son Steven Linwood Mitchell; her brother Roy (Nancy Main) of East Hartford, CT.; her granddaughter Tabitha Jean Gaudreau; and her adoptive son Joey Gaudreau-Mitchell.

She is survived by : her husband Linwood Paul "Mitch" Mitchell; her children, Alice Lynne Mitchell-King (Ronald King) of Ashford, CT and Keith Arland Mitchell (Barbara Branagan-Mitchell) of New Milford, CT; her adoptive son Carlos Gaudreau-Mitchell of Storrs, CT.; her grandsons, Jason King of Ashford, Keith Arland Mitchell, Jr. (Nicole Mitchell) of Greer, SC, Joe Mitchell of Storrs, Paul King of Ashford and Ian Mitchell of Greenville, SC.; her sister Joyce Chambers; her great grandchildren, Matthew Linwood King, Jamielynn Ann King, Kaden Russi and Savannah Mitchell; and also Dawn Marquis of Storrs.

In lieu of flowers, Helena's family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society, and appreciates each donors' generosity.
