She was predeceased by: her parents, James Topich and Barbara Topich (Kuklik); her son Gary Zemek; and her brothers, Herman Topich and Kenneth Topich.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Zemek Jr. of Storrs; her son Roger Zemek (Kimberly Todd) of Storrs; and her grandson Nicholas Zemek of Storrs.
