It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Reynolds Maines (Storrs, Connecticut), born in Presque Isle, Maine, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund A. Maines and Barbara Beebe Goodale; his brother Russell; his stepbrother Willis III; and his daughter-in-law Heather MacDougall Maines.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hawkins Maines; his children, Kristen Hoyle (David), Michael Allan Maines (Anne), Bethany Maines and Andrew Maines (Tanya); his grandchildren, Sarah, Emma, Anna, Ethan Hoyle, William, Michael Maines, Kiana, Toby Klafter, Anjelique, Damien, Arianna and Andrew Maines; his caregiver Ursula; and his friends, Allan and Patricia. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
