He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Martley and Katherine Martley (Inderdohnen). He is survived by: his wife Jane Martley (Burdick) of Stonington, CT.; his children, William D. Martley Jr. (Jennifer) of Mystic, Marie Patterson (Erik) of Arizona and Jen Martley (Sue Carpenter) of Mystic; his grandchildren, Ian Patterson, Neil, Taylor Patterson, Jason Patterson, Liam Martley, Guthrie and Perry Belfiglio; and his sisters-in-law, Catherine Holdridge (James), Marie Magee and Dorothy Burdick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
