She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mitchell and Iva Mitchell (Rackett); her husband Robert E. Young; and her brothers, Franklin and Francis Mitchell.
She is survived by: her cousin Judy; her children, Roberta Kinney (Charles), Brenda Belliveau (Thomas), Robert E. Young Jr. (Gretchen), Guy Young (Susan Talbot), Karen LeBlanc (John) and Michael Young (Charlene); her brother Allyson Mitchell (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah Kinney, Heather McGuire, Kevin, Matthew Rowland, Xavier, Miranda, Dustin, Craig, Michael and Timothy Young; and her great grandchildren, Alaynna, Michael Moody and Baby Rowland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
