It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley Wozniak of Stonington, Connecticut, born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wozniak and Agnes Wozniak (Mehalic); and his brothers, Edward and Walter. He is survived by: his brother Teddy of Florida; his daughters, Debra Frechette (Stephen) of Griswold, Sherry Wozniak (John Lawrence) of Plainfield and Stacey Kelleher (Charles) of Killingly; his wife Anne; his stepchildren, Deborah Coon, John Morey and Donna Comeau; the mother of his children Joyce Brown (Bousquet); his siblings-in-law, Prescott Bousquet (Betty), Kathy Beauregard and Judy Cote; and also Sherry. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be mailed to VFW Post 5446 Auxiliary, c/o Treasurer, 234 Cemetery Road, Plainfield, CT 06374 and will also be accepted at the VFW the day of the service. All donations will benefit both VFW Post 5446 and Post 10004.
