He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Vargas and Patricia Vargas (Faulkner); and his brother Joseph A. Vargas. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Bray (Johnathan Bray II) of Plainfield, Jessica Vargas (Randy Weinberg) of New London, Angela Connolly (Graham) of Richmond, RI and Katelyn Vargas of Uncasville; his brother David Vargas (Catherine) of Stonington; his sister-in-law Sharon Vargas of Stonington; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Madison, Johnathan Bray III and John Connolly II. He is also survived by several nieces; one nephew and his.
