Mary Cragan Motherway Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cragan Motherway of Stonington, Connecticut, born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cragan and Vera Vargas Cragan; and her son David L. Motherway, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband David L. Motherway; her daughter Melissa Motherway Christian; her children-in-law, James Christian of Charlotte and Kathie Dean Motherway of Stonington; her grandchildren, Griffin Christian, Sydney Motherway, Erin Motherway, Devon Christian and David "Leo" Motherway, III; and her sisters, Anne Connerton of Stonington and Jane Duffy of Needham, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
They met every two years until the pandemic hit then began to ZOOM every two weeks to stay in touch.
