We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 96, James D. McNair of Stonington, Connecticut passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elessie Tee Ferguson and James Strathern McNair; his significant other Sewell Sillman of Old Lyme; and his sister Janet Ferguson Hefferlin of California. He is survived by: his sister Catherine Jensen of San Mateo; his nieces, Ann, Mary, Jean and Kay; his nephew Charles; and his extended family, Jean Vallier, Matthew Smyth of Salisbury, Bill Turner, Paul Coutu of Kentford Farm, Michael, Paula Bovino of Stonington, Jonathan Duncklee and Emily Kukulka of Mystic.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mystic Congregation Church (43 E Main St, Mystic, CT 06355).
