Gilbert R. Foster Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert R. Foster of Stonington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife June Foster; and his parents, Roderick Foster and Phyllis Foster. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Rowley (Donald) of Stonington, Jeanna Congdon (Donald) of Stonington and Cheryl Whitelaw (Nicholas) of Waterford; his grandchildren, Alisha Shortman, Crystal Cody, Aleksa Liaugaudas, Kurtis Shaw and Christiana Congdon; and his brothers, Christopher Foster (Nancy) and Jonathan Foster (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and one nephew.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no calling hours and a funeral will be held at a later date with close friends and family in Southampton, Long Island where he will be reunited with his wife and the rest of his family.
