Dorothy I. Piver Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy I. Piver of Stonington, Connecticut, born in Westerly, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Smith and Geneva Smith (Coon); her husband Edmund F. Piver; her son Michael Piver; and her grandson Josh Piver.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary of Stonington and Jon Piver of Stonington; her sister Shirley Findley of Meriden, CT; her granddaughter Erika Piver; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Christopher and Nakhi Snyder; and her great great grandchild Lincoln Robinson.
A memorial service will be held at a later time and date at the United Church of Stonington when the COVID restrictions have been lifted entirely.
