Carol L. Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2022, at the age of 74, Carol L. Smith of Stonington, Connecticut, born in New London, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Peterson and Ina Peterson (Craig); her son Wayne B. Smith Jr.; her sister Lisbeth McLaughlin; her daughter-in-law Bryn Smith; and her granddaughter Alicia Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne B. Smith; her siblings, Thora Amaral (George) of Groton, CT., Nancy Allen (James) of Stonington, Edward Peterson of Middletown, CT., Robert Peterson (Tina) of Noank and Gerhard Petersen Jr. (Gary); and her brothers-in-law, Irving Smith of Thorndale, PA and Walter Smith (Wendy) of Red Hook, NY.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
